What was happening
Mercado Libre is the largest e-commerce platform in Latin America, but being so in the real world was not enough, so we challenged ourselves to deliver everything, including fast shipping, in the gamer world.
Minecraft is a construction video game where participants can create and build things, but to do so they have to spend hours mining to get the materials (such as stones, logs, diamonds, among others). In that instance Mercado Libre finds the opportunity to be present in the role of supplier, in charge of delivering everything you need, having a great variety of products, and saving you time with "shipping".
What we did
We developed our own server that was fully branded, a community on Discord that exceeded 2000 people, amplification via influgamers and a series of content that allowed the viralization of the action within the community. For 7 days Mercado Libre made a live streaming via Twitch of the players' constructions and the best of them won a Gamer Kit as a prize.
